Ch. Blackthorn Light Brigade "Pete"
Pete is always the center of attention, and if not, He'll fix that quick! Petie stole my heart the day he was welped, a fat little fuzz-ball with tiny little tree stump legs, and a BIG attitude! Ever since, we've made a bond that is almost indescribable. He always knows when I'm upset, and how to make me smile....He definitely knows when I'm mad, but still is able to make me smile. He will do anything that is asked of him, you can tell he always wants to please people or make them laugh.
Being such a great "family member" is only part of why I love my little dog. Pete and I had a great Juniors career together. Although we didn't show as often as
most juniors, we had many memorable wins. The best, being at the 2004 Westminster KC dog show. Our first time to NYC and we made it to the junior showmanship finals!!! Out of over 200 contenders, we were 1 of 8 finalist.
Now Petie enjoys lounging on my pillow and stealing ALL of the covers. He makes the occassional show ring apperance, and boy does he love it! He is the showiest SFT I've ever laid eyes on, of course it only took me 5 years to train him!
Call me biased, but he's the best little Smoothie ever!!! :)
